The U.S. mushroom industry has a long history of leaning in and building on its strong foundations of safety, quality and excellence. Mushroom farms are inspected routinely, often unannounced, and comply every day with food safety and worker protection laws under U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other federal, state and local regulators.
